California Residence Need to Save Water

It Should Be Everybody’s Responsibility to Save water. I just do not understand why some people do not think it is important to save. I do know the movement is growing I just hope it is not too late. We really do not need to change major things to save. We can save water painlessly by buying products that help us save water and cut back on the silly things like letting the water run as we brush our teeth.

For the big changes, we need to have a 3rd party monitor the cities and the water waste. They tell us we need to save water yet "They/We" pump millions of gallons out to sea everyday, let’s convert it into Grey-Water for outdoor cleaning and watering. Low volume shower heads, Dual flush conversion kits for the toilet should be handed out by the utility departments like we get our garbage cans.

I have been searching the web for anyway I can save water and money...I installed a new thing for my toilet call a SelectAFlush it works great. Saving water really does not have to cause pain. If we all change just a few minor things in our life we can save millions of gallons. most people don't know that 8-10% of our energy goes into pumping water in and out of our homes so if you save water you save energy.


Lets look at some painless low or no cost ways to save:

• Use recycled water anytime you can to water plants, wash cars, or flush the toilet. You can collect this water from the rain, your bathtub, rinsing dishes or water you used to cook with.
• Repair your toilet, most toilets leak and use gobs of water. You can buy new repair kits for a fraction of the price of the water that is wasted.
